About the teachings

The Lotus Lion gathers the sūtra-side teachings of Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche — his explanations of the great Indian and Tibetan treatises studied in the shedra — and makes them freely available in audio. Each collection follows a classical text; what follows is a short word on each, and on its author.

The teacher

Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche

A scholar and accomplished master in the Nyingma tradition — presumably among the last of his generation — long renowned as an authority on the Guhyagarbha.

The Lotus Lion keeps the sūtra side of his teaching and offers it freely. A fuller biography will follow from the office.
